Shahrukh Khan's much-hyped upcoming release, 'Chennai Express' is scheduled to release on this 9th of August. However, the makers are prone to face a tough hindrance before its release. Apparently, Raj Thackeray's political party, 'Maharashtra Navnirman Sena' is threatening to disrupt the movie's scheduled release, in the coming week.
It is believed that the party's film unit is upset over reports that the Rohit Shetty flick has demanded prime slots in single cinemas across the state at the cost of some Marathi films that are being screened this season. The MNS (film wing) chief, Amey Khopkar confirmed the news that they wouldn't tolerate if the producers of 'Chennai Express' attempt to dislodge any of the ongoing or forthcoming Marathi flicks. Allegedly, through his declaration, we consider him to have specially referred to the hit Marathi movie 'Duniyadari', running to full houses, since July 19. The party also claimed to tear apart the Chennai Express posters if they don't back out from demanding prime slots. Well, with all the action-tricks in the film, Chennai Express is now dealing with some real-life action!
