On Saturday, June 29th Coach Scott Schmidt held open tryouts for Florida National University's Men's Basketball Team over at the Bucky Dent Gym in Hialeah. Florida National University (FNU) will be using the Bucky Dent Gym as its home court facility during the team's inaugural period. Coach Schmidt was extremely delighted with the turnout of 45 players. Based upon the huge turnout, Schmidt feels that FNU is positioned to have an excellent first period.
