Laxman Siddh is 12 Kms away from Dehradun towards Haridwar / Rishikesh is a famous temple known as the Laxman Siddh. Legend has it that a sage underwent penance over here. Due to easy accessibility the temple is visited by a large number of people especially on Sundays.

Laxman Siddh Temple is famous for its religious significance and for its scenic beauty. This temple is the cremation site of the Saint-Swami Laxman Siddh, which is visited by large number of tourists every year.

In this temple you see the sal forest and a small bridge after Harrawala. Due to its popular destination amongst the visitors, especially for people with religiousbent of mind.

According to Legend, a sage called Swami Laxman Siddh underwent austerity over here. The temple is presumably built in the memory of a saint named Laxman who got Siddhi. Another Legend is that the temple is constructed on the same place where Laxman underwent remorse for killing the devil king Ravana.

One of the most popular fairs is the Laxman Siddha Fair that has a lot of significance in the region. Every Sunday a fair is held in his reminiscence where thousands of disciples pray for their own metaphysical ascending.
