Traditionally a time of fasting and feasting, this year’s Ramadan feasts are becoming too expensive for the majority of Yemenis. Yemen has remained the poorest country in the Arab world and since the country’s political turmoil in 2011, in which president Ali Abdullah Saleh was deposed, things have got even worse.
