An elderly woman in Tennessee has been accused of shooting at a vehicle that used her driveway for a few brief seconds. Adding to the troubling incident, a family, complete with small children, were inside the SUV when the shots were fired.

What do you do when you see a stranger turning his car in your driveway?

Well, 72-year-old Margie Ramey living in Tennessee reportedly fired gun shots at a vehicle that used her driveway for a few brief seconds. Adding to the troubling incident, a family with kids was inside the SUV when the shots were fired.

Oscar Scott was the driver of the car. Scott claimed he decided to take a scenic route back to their home state of Virginia. That’s when they turned around in the woman’s driveway.

According to Scott, almost immediately after pulling in, the lady fired two shots. One of the shots hit the vehicle on the passenger side which only several feet away from where his 5 kids were sitting.

Fortunately, no one was injured. Law enforcement was immediately called to the scene.

A local police officer stated “During a field interview Mrs. Ramey openly admitted to shooting her rifle towards the vehicle because she has had a continuous problem with people tearing up her driveway.” She was arrested and charged with seven felony counts of reckless endangerment.
