Sorting all that mail while working for postal service can certainly be challenging.
A post office in Guntersville, Alabama was evacuated on a recent Tuesday morning after a strange liquid substance leaked from approximately a dozen packages.
Employees and customers were ushered outdoors while a Hazmat team was called on scene to investigate. Two employees were hospitalized as a precautionary measure after coming in contact with the substance.
It turns out, the suspicious liquid was actually KY gel that had spilled. Specifically it was the intense arousal version which is said “to intensify sensation.”
The gel contains non-hazardous methanol along with propylene glycol, which is a common ingredient in foods, cosmetics and even medicine. Although no name has been released on the intended recipient of the packages containing the sexual lubricant, postal officials claimed the gel was headed to someone in the entertainment industry.
The US postal service planned on notifying the sender on how to appropriately package items to avoid spills and related incidents in the future.
