Garnet has been used for centuries as protection against evil, strength, health, self esteem, loyalty and success in business are just a few of the properties that have been assigned to garnets over the last few centuries. However my personal experience has been that yes it does all of those things...in a round about way.
As I understand that create my perception, as my perception shifts my reality shifts, I have no more need to protect myself from others. It is much easier to just change my perception. Garnet shows us very clearly, through the mirrors within our environment exactly who we are being on any given subject. This is not always a bad thing. This is a stone that helps us learn the vibration of integrity to ourselves because we are seeing ourselves everywhere.
