F.C. Barcelona admits to having lost money with Villa's transfer

Barcelona, Jul 10 (EFE).- The vice-president of F.C. Barcelona's economic area, Joan Faus, admitted during the presentation of a new proposal to reform the club's statutes that David Villa's transfer to Atletico de Madrid had generated financial losses in the club.
The reform will look to control the club's debt and could force the board of directors to step down if the institutions deficit is not kept within "reasonable ratios".
These proposals will be voted on next September.
