However, one fight between a husband and wife in Tennessee took a really bizarre turn.

Police were dispatched to the couple’s home after a call came in regarding a male who was attempting to commit suicide. Officers were initially told that the man was armed, but upon arrival at the house, they discovered the male was holding a wooden spoon.

His wife told cops that they had been arguing prior to her hubby grabbing the bizarre weapon. According to an officer, “During that time, the man stated that he want to harm himself and wanted her to watch. The woman advised that he then broke a wooden spoon and began attempting to stab himself on the arm.”

Although no criminal charges were incurred, the husband was taken to a nearby medical center where he underwent a mental and physical evaluation.
