Recently, a pregnant woman in China woke up to find that there was no longer a baby in her belly. She had arrived at a local hospital for a routine check-up, but she passed out and later awoke to find the baby was missing.

Expecting a new baby is a joyous time for most parents, however in some rare cases, it can turn into a grievous event.

Recently a pregnant woman in China woke up to find that there was no longer a baby in her belly.

The terrifying and troubling incident occurred on June 26th. The 24-year-old lady had arrived at a local hospital for a routine check-up as she was 10 days past her due date.

After she left the examination area, she claimed to have felt dizzy and abruptly lost consciousness.

While it wasn’t clear how long she had passed out for, her family began getting worried as they hadn’t heard anything from the expectant mother in the past few hours.

Later that day, the relatives received a mysterious letter claiming the infant had been taken.

Eventually, the woman was located, however she was no longer pregnant. Her belly was empty and the baby was no where to be found.

It remains unclear what caused the mother to pass out and what happened while she was asleep. Police are currently investigating the case.
