Singer Adele immortalised at London's Madame Tussauds museum

Grammy-winning singer Adele joined the Madame Tussauds hall of fame on Wednesday (July 3) as her wax figure was unveiled in London.

With her hit single "Someone Like You" playing in the background, the wax likeness of the 25-year-old appeared in a stunning long black dress, mirroring the one she wore in her Grammy Awards performance in 2012.

The wax figure costs about 225-thousand dollars and four months to make, according to PR manager Nicole Fenner.

"We start off by taking thousands of measurements and loads of pictures of her personality. That's then used to create a clay head, so we perfectly sculpt the person in clay.
