A nurse named June Parry found herself in front of a Nursing and Midwifery Council for numerous offenses. She reportedly told a dying patient to “hurry up and do us all a favour.”

Nurses are supposed to be fully dedicated to patient care, but that is not always the case.

June Parry, a nurse working at a hospital and a nursing home in Wales United Kingdom, found herself in front of a Nursing and Midwifery Council for numerous offenses including being verbally abusive and using excessive force with patients.

She was found guilty of 12 charges. One of the most disturbing incidents was what she said to a dying patient. According to a co-worker who heard the statement, Parry stated “he should hurry up and die, and do us all a favour.

Another charge that she was found guilty of was moving a patient intentionally so they would not be able to reach their cup of tea.

It was alleged that she claimed to put pillows over patients' heads or cords around their necks if they rang the buzzer. Colleagues reported that Parry used intimidation methods against them as well.

Due to the charges, she has been removed from the nursing register for five years, putting her out of work for that time period.
