Ramon Bruin is one talented artist whose work can leave viewers in absolute awe.
He specializes in drawings that are insanely unique. The illustrations seemingly jump right off the pages, giving the artwork a 3-D effect.
In several pieces, real props are used, in the form of pencils or other art supplies. Upon first and second glace, onlookers have a tough time deciphering which aspect is real – the drawing itself or the prop.
One of his works titled ‘caterpillar’ depicts a green creepy crawler moving out of what appears to be a cardboard box. The drawing along with two pencils rest on two simplistic white pieces of paper.
The box seems to stem right off the pages. The caterpillar’s tail sticks straight up. Bruin’s hand is photographed pinching the end of the tail, making spectators question what’s real.
Another work called Feather of Raven showcases a 3-D eagle flying right off the paper. Feathers are also pictured, one of which is touched by the artist’s hand.
For now, Bruin is choosing to keep his technique a secret.
