Full Recipe
Ingredients:
4 plain biscuits or cookies (any brand)
4 tablespoons of blueberry jam
1 cup of melted milk chocolate (loose or bars/any brand)
1cup Rice Crispies
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 cup chopped almonds
Preparation:
Finely cut or crush biscuits
Place them into a large bowl together with the coconut and Rice Crispies
Mix them well gently and set aside
Place chopped almonds on large flat dish and set aside
Break or cut chocolate bars into smaller pieces
Place chocolate pieces into mixing bowl
Boil water (at half level) in pot
When water boils place bowl with chocolate pieces on top of it
Stir slowly until chocolate is completely melted (be careful with hot bowl)
Take bowl off pot.
Pour in a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Stir well into melted chocolate mixture, then set aside
Microwave blueberry jam for about 12 seconds, or until just warm (not hot)
When done, combine the warm jam with the melted chocolate in the bowl, along
with the crushed biscuits, coconut and Rice Crispies mixture
Gently mix in all the ingredients
Scoop a tablespoon of the mixture and make into a round shape
Next, roll the rounds in the chopped almonds until they are completely coated
When all the rounds have been coated set aside for 10 minutes, then serve
