The all around entertainer was honored by amfAR , the Foundation for AIDS Research, at their annual Inspiration dinner for charitable work she has done through her organization.

"Healthcare and education are such a huge part of our, the Lopez Family Foundation that I started with my sister when the babies were born. To be here tonight is a huge accomplishment. It's always kind of, so humbling to be honored in this way, you kind of think, 'Who, me, ok?'"

Scottish born actor Alan Cumming received the Award of Courage from his good friend and legendary entertainer Liza Minnelli.

And fashion designer Valentino was given the Award of Inspiration for his long term commitment to the fight against AIDS.

Proceeds from the star-studded night full of fashion and music will benefit amfAR's life-saving AIDS research programs.
