U.S. plane diverted due to bomb threat

Passengers bound for Texas are escorted off a plane in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday, after an unidentified caller made a bomb threat against the Southwest Airlines flight.

In response to the call, U.S. fighter jets were sent to monitor the plane before it landed safely in Phoenix.

All 143 passengers were evacuated from the aircraft without incident.
