Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to return to Ankara on the evening of Sunday June 9, where he is expected to be welcomed as a hero.

Before leaving an event in Adama, Erdogan told Turkish voters: "I want you to teach the Taksin protesters a lesson in a democratic way, through the local elections which will be held in seven months.
