Spanish writer Antonio Munoz Molina has been awarded this years Asturias Literature prize. The novelist was one of 18 nominations from 11 different countries. The official announcement was made by the president of the jury. It is the fifth of the eight international awards bestowed each year by the Prince of Asturias Foundation.
