There is a debate in India on the strategy to deal with the Maoist rebels, which is regarded as one of the biggest internal threat to the country's security. That is after more than a dozen politicians were killed in an attack in Chhattisgarh State. Activists say the solution lies in sharing resources with the locals, 75 percent of whom live in rural and remote areas and survive off the land.
