A lamb has its ears cut off in a horrendous animal cruelty act.

Why would anyone harm an innocent creature?

A mutilated lamb was recently discovered on a farm in Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. The ears were completely cut off.

The animal welfare group, RSPCA is looking into the incident. Authorities are working exceptionally hard to find the culprit behind the act.

The lamb, named Nelson, is now deaf as a result of the attack and his mother has abandoned him. Kenneth and Val Gunn are the two farmers who found the injured Nelson. They are now bottle-feeding the helpless creature and have found a new foster mom for him.

Val said “It's so clear-cut where the ears have been taken, it's got to have been done by a human.”

Last year, police were searching for a suspect who harmed a beautiful cat. An employee working the night shift at a Shell garage in Peterlee, England came across the five-month-old black kitten.

Its mouth had been intentionally glued shut. A veterinarian was able to remove the adhesive without sedation methods and claimed the feline was fortunate to have survived.
