McFly became the first band to play a gig at Heathrow airport as they switched on the Christmas lights at Terminal 5.<br /><br />Bass player Dougie Poynter got in the spirit by popping on a stewardess's uniform while his bandmates wore captains' outfits during the performance on Tuesday 16th November.<br /><br />The Christmas lights will remain on for the whole of the festive season during which time three million passengers are expected to fly through Heathrow with nearly half a million between Sunday 19th December and Friday 24th December alone.
