Losing a reptile is a fairly common occurrence that happens to almost everyone. The most important thing to remember is that reptiles are very hardy and can survive a very long time in a typical house environment. Finding them is not easy however as most reptiles like snakes can fit into very small spaces, you have to check in and around everything near your enclosure. Sometimes it's about waiting until your reptile decided to come out.
